Mendocino Coast District Hospital is a JCAHO accredited medical facility serving a district which encompasses the coastal corridor from Elk to Westport in Mendocino County, California. M.C.D.H. is the “sole provider” of hospital services for the region, providing emergency and primary care, and assisting with preventive and rehabilitation services.

infection control rate comparable or lower than the best San
Francisco Bay Area hospitals, and highly qualified staff of
physical and occupational therapists.
In addition, certified clinical scientists manage our lab and the diabetes management team uses nationally-tested “best practices” for positive outcomes. In 2010, a new diagnostic imaging center will house the latest technology in X-rays, CT scans and MRI’s.
